The Italian Job Remake: filming with Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor: Abbas Mustan's remake of the Hollywood crime thriller The Italian Job started filming in Goa today, November 8.

The film headlines Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol and Sonam Kapoor.

Sonam and Abhishek shared their excitement with their Twitter fans:

"In goa starting a new film.. Excited and nervous all over again.." Sonam tweeted yesterday evening.
"It's a new dawn, it's a new day and it's a new film!!! 1st day of shoot. Ok, I think I'll go faint now!! Nervous" Abhishek tweeted early morning today.


The film's unit was welcomed with stormy weather in the tourist hotspot, but the team was hard at work with the lead pair filming a dance sequence.

"Dancing with atjuniorbachchan both of us are trying to make our long limbs shake gracefully." Sonam tweeted in the afternoon.

The film additionally features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya and Bipasha Basu.

It's an official adaptation of the 2003 heist film, The Italian Job, headlining Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron.

Abhishek Bachchan will play Mark Wahlberg's role and Sonam Kapoor - Charlize Theron's; Omi Vaidya will step into Seth Green's shoes and Bobby Deol into Jason Statham's; Neil plays the villain Steve's role, essayed in the original by Edward Norton.

The Studio 18 bank rolled film will be next shot in Russia and New Zealand.
