Rakta Charitra 2 Finally to Release on Nov 26th

Rakta Charitra 2 that is scheduled for November 19th release has been postponed to November 26th. With Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai starrer Guzaarish releasing on November 19th, the Hindi distributors asked the director Ram Gopal Varma to postpone it. Remember Rakta Charitra 1 didn’t get good openings in North India despite winning rave reviews. So if Rakta Charitra 2 competes with Hrithik Roshan’s film, it will have hardly any takers in the Hindi belt. Hence RGV has succumbed to distributor’s plea.

The film will now hit the screens in Telugu and in Hindi on November 26 while in Tamilnadu Rakta Saritram , the single version of both the parts together, hits on the same day.

Brindavanam Triple Platinum Disc Function at VJA

Dil Raju planned for a success celebration at Vijayawada but it did not materialize as the main artists were busy with their shooting schedules. Hence the producer is now planning to organize the Triple Platinum Disc Function on November 7th in Hyderabad. This function is due to the audio as well as the film’s success. The entire cast and crew are expected to attend this event. After a very long gap Dil Raju has tasted a decent success through NTR starrer ‘Brindavanam’. He also appears to be very happy with the box office collections. Not only for Dil Raju, it's a well deserved success for NTR as well.

Mumaith Khan enters in to Sugar Candy ENT Bussiness!

Item bomb Mumaith Khan the south sexy lady from Mumbai has ventured into business. She has started Sugar Candy Entertainment, a company that will foray into event management, TV production and documentary films. She met the reports today (Wednesday, November 03, 2010) in Hyderabad and revealed her business plans. “I have been thinking to do something creative and something that gives me satisfaction. So I came up with this idea of starting a media production house. My first programme from this production house will be hosting an event very shortly. Will reveal the details about the event in two weeks time,” she said.

Ram Gopal Varma New 3D Movie Titled 'Amma'

Ram Gopal Varma is planning to direct another film in Telugu. He is already directing Appalraju with Sunil in Telugu and soon after finishing it, he would be doing another movie titled Amma. This film will be made in 3D. Amma will be shot extensively in Africa, Iran and Brazil. The film will also be made in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and English languages. Shooting commences from January 2011. “It will be most expensive film in my career as I am planning to release in 3D. It will also have Computer Graphics for major portion of the story,” RGV said.

He also said that the film will not have any ‘heroes’ as all the lead characters have grey shades. Vivek Oberai, Nasiriddin Shah, Zyed Khan, Sonu Sood, Tamil actor Arjun, Brahmanandam, Subbaraju and others.

During his research on rare plants in a deep forest, a professor finds a treasure near a Kali maata temple. He reveals about this treasure to a police officer and the greedy cop wants to own it for his own sake. The cop threatens the professor to show the way to the treasure. Along with some other people they go into the forest to find the treasure. The travails of their journey forms main story of the movie.

Jagapathi Babu’s Chattam-Nee Abba Sottha Movie launched

Jagapathi Babu’s latest telugu cinema ‘Chattam… Nee Abba Sottha’ was launched today in Ramanaidu studios. A. Arun Prasad is directing this film under Vishaka Talkies banner. Nattikumar and Rama Satyanarayana are the producers.

T.R.S leader Kavitha switched on the camera and Ramanaidu gave the clap for first shot that was picturized on Jagapathi Babu.

Producer Nattikumar said he has been dreaming to make a movie with Jagapathi Babu and that was finally fulfilled with this film. He told that this film’s shooting will be completed in sixty days. “Shooting will wrap up by Jan 5th. But we will release the film during summer vacation. This will be the biggest ever release in Jagapathi Babu’s career,” he added.

Rama Satyanarayana expressed his happiness for being associated with Nattikumar. He said that Chattam will prove Jagapthi Babu’s stamina at the box office.

Arun Prasad earlier made ‘Maa Nanna Chiranjeevi’ with Jagapathi Babu. Despite that film’s failure Jagapathi Babu has given yet another chance for Arun Prasad.

SVR Media (Pvt) Ltd., that distributed many super hit films like ‘Dasavataram’, ‘Surya s/o Krishnan’, ‘Awara’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘Pirana 3D’, etc., is now set to present yet another youthful cum family entertainer titled ‘Nene Ambani’. The Tamil version ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’, which starred Arya and Nayantara as lead pair is being dubbed as ‘Nene Ambani’ in Telugu. This movie was originally produced by Vasan Visual Ventures in Tamil.

‘Nagavalli’ First Look Poster

Venkatesh’s ‘Nagavalli’ has successfully completed its shooting part at Araku valley. Directed by P Vasu, the film is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh with five heroines in lead roles. They are Anushka, Richa Gangopadhyay, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Sraddha Das and Poonam Kaur. Now that the film shooting has been completed the unit will begin its post production works shortly and the music launch is planned at Vijayawada on November 14th. Musical scores are rendered by Guru Kiran. The film is expected to release on December 2nd.

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’ Shoots at Dubai

Mahesh Babu’s next romantic action entertainer ‘Dookudu’ started its regular shooting at Turkey. The film is being directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment banner.

Like we saw a different Mahesh in his latest film ‘Khaleja’, director Sreenu also is going to portray him in a very new character. After two successful films like ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and ‘Brindavanam’, this is Samantha’s third film in Telugu. A song and a few fighting scenes will be canned at Turkey after which the unit will move on to Dubai and then to Gujarat to shoot the remaining part of the film. Music director S Thaman has just tuned the title song called ‘Nee Dookudu Satevvadu…’. The movie is planned for March release.

'Aha Naa Pellanta' to fly abroad

A comedy flick titled ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ (Match Fixing) with Allari Naresh as hero is taking a brisk shape in the hands of Veerabhadram. In the recent schedule at Hyderabad, a few important scenes and couple of songs were shot. Now the unit is planning to fly abroad to shoot the remaining four songs. Producer Sunkara Ramabrahmam is introducing a new face Rithu Bharmecha as heroine. Srihari is playing a key role in this film. The scenes involving Srihari and Allari Naresh would be the main highlights, say the reports.

Dialogues for this comedy entertainer are being penned by Sridhar Sipana, Raghu Kunche is composing the music and the lyrics are provided by Ramajogayya Sastry and Bhaskara Bhatla.

Srikanth and Tarun's Entertainment’s action flick titled ‘Anucharudu’

Praharsha Entertainment’s action flick titled ‘Anucharudu’ will feature Srikanth and Tarun as male leads. The pre-production works are presently going on. Producer Praveen Bala is going to introduce Ashok Alle as director and Jasmine as heroine.

According to him, the story of this film is very fresh and Srikanth and Tarun are aptly suitable actors for their respective roles. He informed that the regular shooting will begin from 2nd week of November.

Ashok Alle said, “I worked as a co-director in many films under Suresh Productions. This is an action entertainer blend with love. The story and screenplay will appear new to the audience. Chakri is composing the tunes and Bhupathi K will handle the camera. His cinematography will be the main attraction of this film.”

Harris added One More Beat Song For 'Orange'

The audio of Orange was released recently at a grand event. The album contains six songs, each of which have been receiving loads of appreciation. Encouraged by this talk, music director Harris Jayaraj has composed another song for the film.

The rerecording work for the movie has been progressing in Chennai. Excited by a situation in the film, Harris Jayaraj tuned a lovely bit song. This was confirmed by director Bhaskar. “He (Harris) composed another bit song for Orange. Beautiful melody, I love that,” the director wrote on his Twitter account. Obviously the song will be used only in the background score.

Most of the post production work of the movie has been more or less is on the schedule. Producer Nagababu, had already announced that the movie will be released on November 12th. The film is in a high demand from across all the regions in Andhra Pradesh, and is sure to break some records.

Rajnikanth’s animation movie Titled as "Hara"

Rajnikanth’s animation film is being made by his younger daughter Soundarya and it was titled as ‘Sultan The Warrior’. The making of this movie had started much before the making of his latest block buster ‘Robo’. But it got delayed due to various reasons.

Now as per the latest reports, Soundarya has changed the title of this film as ‘Hara’. It is also learnt that she has taken a 22 day call sheet from her dad Rajnikanth. This animated film is being jointly directed by Soundarya and KS Ravi Kumar. As per the Chennai reports, he is shooting a few scenes that go for about 20 minutes and 5 songs. ‘Hara’ is going to be the first 3D animation film in India. The highlight of this film is super star Rajnikanth will be share the screen with his animated character.
